Bath City Joinery is a family run business operating in the South West. As a company we specialise in the manufacture of timber joinery and fine woodworking.
Bath City Joinery takes great pride and care with the utmost attention to fine detail through all the stages during the manufacturing process. These values are transferred through all of our products and just as importantly during our customer interaction.
We can take an idea, a rough sketch or any input from you and turn it into a stunning reality.
We will consult with you and design your project using AutoCAD to produce the technical drawings that will visually bring your project to life.
From there, our expert joiners and cabinet makers will use their experience to generate a piece of true beauty.
We can produce an eclectic range of high-quality bespoke joinery to add character to your home or commercial building. From unique spiralling staircases and fitted kitchens to custom-fitted libraries.
What we offer
We offer a standard range (made to measure) of flush casement windows and doors. All are manufactured to the very highest standard utilising Accoya and the best available multipoint hardware. Thermally rated, Pas24 (part q) certificated to meet all requirements for both new build and refurbishment supplied Fully painted, factory glazed and assembled for a fast on-site fitting.
Doors
We manufacture all types of doors. Entrance, French, bi fold and sliding as well as internal.
All our doors are made using traditional through mortise and tenon joints, secured properly with wedges for life long strength and durability.
We prefer to use engineered timber for its stability, with multipoint locking, to achieve maximum weather performance and security to ensure trouble free operation throughout the changing year.
All our entrance doors are designed individually. We use cad extensively in the design process to illustrate accurately to you your design
Our 56mm thick external wooden doors are fully assembled, glazed with 24mm toughened glass and fitted into the frames ready for installation.
We can supply painted in primer of fully spray finished using a 4 coat micro porous paint system.

Staircases
Curved work is our speciality and we relish the challenge of building complex staircases. A large part of the process is producing curved hand railing and balustrading which is usually a mixture of laminated and hand carved work.
We use extensively a cnc machine to cut to shape and joint components for absolute accuracy. This ensures faithful reproduction of the design and trouble free fitting
Years of experience in furniture making means our team make the most of the natural timber, grain pattern and colour to present these one off pieces of art in the best way possible.
We work alongside the client and architect to fuse the design concept with both the build ability and the practicality for fitting.

All our furniture is hand built and exquisitely finished to the highest possible standards. Collaboration on design and practical usability is as important as the actual manufactured item. Again we use cad rather than the usual generic kitchen design software. One off commissions is our preference

We offer a standard range of windows that comply with building regs. including part q. and have been tested and awarded an A rating for energy efficiency
These are available in any size and configuration, are supplied fully glazed and painted with the hardware fitted.

Our Workshop
We utilise modern computer-controlled machinery for maximum quality and accuracy. Our Integrated CNC machining centre is used extensively to produce our products.
We have a drive-in, down-draft spray booth for impeccable painting and finishing.
Green Credentials
All our waste sawdust is automatically collected, stored and used in our state-of-the-art biomass burner to heat the workshop, thereby reducing our carbon footprint.
